Colleges in the UK
There are more than 130 colleges in the United Kingdom providing education for both national and international students.
After 31 of March 2009, all the colleges must be an approved education provider by the UK Border Agency for students who are coming from countries outside the EU.
Approved Education Provider: An education provider approved by the UK Border Agency has been given a licence to bring students to the United Kingdom under the tier 4 of the points-based system. These education providers are given A rating or B rating. The B rating is a transitional rating meaning that the education provider is working with UK Border agency to improve their systems. There are certain circumstances where the status of a student's approved education provider licence may have effect on the student’s application.
Therefore, it is essential that the students must be very careful when they choose their education provider.
