Post Study Work
This scheme is open to students, who study undergraduate or postgraduate in the United Kingdom.
Before your visa expires, the student can apply for the post study work category. If granted, the student can work full-time in the United Kingdom for up to 2 years. While the student is in the post study work category, they can also switch into another Tier of the points based system.
Who can apply?
A student can apply under the post-study work category if they are a student in the United Kingdom, e.g. student nurses, students resetting examinations and students writing up their thesis.
Students who are studying HND (Higher National Diploma) in Scotland, can also apply in the post study worker category.
Eligibility
The student must get 75 points to apply in the post study worker category. Once they have 75 points, they need send all the relevant supporting documents to the UK Border Agency with the necessary fee.
