Training in the UK
TWES (Training & Work Experience Scheme)
FOR ROMANIAN & BULGARIAN NATIONALS
The TWES enables people to gain skills and experience through work-based learning, which they can then use back in their own country.
This program can be either for work-based training for a professional or specialist qualification or a period of work experience.
The work experience can be between 3 months (as an intern) and 12 months.
InterCon UK make work placements under the TWES program especially in hotels for people who would like gain experience in this type of field for their further career.
Who can join with the program?
If you are over 18 and from Romania or Bulgaria, have a minimum University degree you can join with this program. You also need to have an intermediate level of English when you apply.
Work Placement
InterCon UK has good connections with reputable hotel chains in UK. Most of them are 4 star hotels, for example The Hilton, Ramada, Best Western, etc... Please check our reference letters from these reputable hotels.
The cost of the program: from £670
This fees include assessment of progress, work placement, application for a work permit through our partner company and support while you are in the UK.
Accommodation
Some hotels provide accommodation. If they do provide accommodation, they deduct a small amount from your wages. If they don’t provide accommodation, InterCon UK will assist you to find the accommodation.
Advantages of the program
While you are doing the TWES program, you can gain valuable work experience for your future career.
When you are in UK, you normally work for the minimum wage, which is £5.80 per hour, normally you will work 39 hours per week. In 12 months your salary is approximately £11.700, also you are eligible for 28 days paid holiday per year.
Also, if the TWES program is more than 12 months, you can apply for an accession worker card and you can stay and work in the United Kingdom.
The Progress
The progress starts once you fill in our application form. Once you fill in the application form, you need to send the application form along with your CV to InterCon UK. Once we receive the documents, we will call you for an informal telephone interview to assess your English language skills and also to get to know you better. If you are successful, we will find a work placement for you.
